Santa's favorite cookies

What You’ll Need:

  • 3/4 cup soft, yummy butter
  • 1/2 cup sweet brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup regular sugar
  • 1 egg (crack it carefully!)
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla (it smells so good!)
  • 2 cups flour (this makes the dough!)
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda (it helps the cookies puff up!)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (just a pinch!)
  • 1 cup of your favorite chocolate chips (the best part!)

How to Make Them:

  1. Let’s Get Ready! Preheat your oven to 350°F. That means get it warm for our cookies to bake!

  2. Mix It Up! In a big bowl, mix the soft butter, brown sugar, and regular sugar together until it looks light and fluffy—like a soft cloud!

  3. Add the Fun Stuff! Crack the egg and pour in the vanilla. Mix again until everything’s super smooth.

  4. Flour Time! Now, sprinkle in the flour, baking soda, and salt. Mix, mix, mix until you have a soft dough—kind of like playdough but tastier!

  5. Choco-Chip Party! Gently stir in those delicious chocolate chips. Yum!

  6. Scoop & Shape! Grab a spoon and scoop out little cookie dough balls (about the size of a small bouncy ball) and place them on your cookie sheet. Make sure they have space to spread out!

  7. Bake Time! Put your cookies in the oven for about 8-10 minutes. When the edges are a little golden, they’re ready to come out!

  8. Cool Down! Let the cookies rest on the pan for 5 minutes (it’s hard to wait, but it’ll be worth it!). Then, move them to a rack to cool.

Now you have warm, gooey, and super yummy cookies to enjoy! 🍪

Reindeer Cupcakes

What You’ll Need:

For the Cupcakes:

  • 1 box of yellow cake mix (or your favorite recipe!)
  • Ingredients as listed on the cake mix box (eggs, oil, water)

For the Peanut Butter Frosting:

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup softened butter
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk (you might need a bit more if it’s too thick)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For Decorating:

  • Mini chocolate chips or black candies (for the eyes)
  • Red candy like M&Ms (for the nose)
  • Pretzels or chocolate piped antlers (for the antlers)

How to Make Them:

  1. Bake the Cupcakes! Prepare your yellow cake mix according to the instructions on the box. Pour the batter into cupcake liners and bake as directed. Once they’re done, let them cool completely—this is important!

  2. Make the Frosting! In a large bowl, mix together the peanut butter and softened butter until smooth. Slowly add the powdered sugar, then the vanilla and milk. Keep mixing until it’s creamy and easy to spread. If it’s too thick, add a little more milk.

  3. Frost Your Cupcakes! Spread the peanut butter frosting on each cupcake. Make it nice and smooth to get ready for the reindeer faces!

  4. Decorate Your Reindeer!

    • Place two mini chocolate chips or black candies on each cupcake for the eyes.
    • Add a red candy for Rudolph’s nose or use brown for other reindeer.
    • For the antlers, gently push in pretzels or use chocolate piped antlers (just melt chocolate, pipe antler shapes on parchment, and let them harden).
  5. Enjoy! Your adorable reindeer cupcakes are ready to make everyone smile! 🦌

These sweet treats are festive, fun, and perfect for the holiday season!

Santaberries

What You’ll Need:

  • Fresh strawberries (as many as you like!)
  • Whipped cream (the fluffier, the better!)
  • Black sprinkles (for Santa’s eyes)
  • A few toothpicks (to help with decorating)

How to Make Them:

  1. Prepare the Strawberries! Wash your strawberries and cut off the green leafy tops. Then, slice the strawberries in half horizontally to create Santa’s body (the bigger piece) and his hat (the smaller piece).

  2. Whipped Cream Magic! Put a little whipped cream on top of the bigger strawberry half. This is Santa’s fluffy face and belly!

  3. Add the Hat! Place the smaller half of the strawberry on top of the whipped cream, like a hat. Add a tiny dot of whipped cream on top of the hat for the pom-pom.

  4. Make Santa’s Face! Use two black sprinkles for Santa’s eyes. You can even add buttons down his front with small dots of whipped cream!

  5. Enjoy! Now your Strawberry Santas are ready to spread some sweet holiday cheer! Pop them in the fridge for a few minutes to keep them cool, or gobble them up right away!

These little Santas are fun, easy, and super tasty! 🎅🍓
